Who can benefit from permanent makeup?

Does having permanent makeup hurt?

After the first application of numbing cream has taken effect there is a sensation similar to the one of eyebrow plucking, however as the treatment progresses and more numbing cream is applied, the sensation becomes less and less.

How long will my permanent makeup last for?

Permanent makeup will last anywhere between 18 months and 5 years, this varies from person to person and depends on your lifestyle and aftercare. One of the biggest factors that will contribute to your permanent makeup fading is the sun, therefore SPF 50 should always be applied on the area(s) you have had treated.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes. A patch test is a health and safety requirement to ensure you are suitable for permanent makeup treatment and consists of a small scratch on your upper forearm where numbing cream and pigment is applied to check for any allergic reactions – all pigments are hypoallergenic.

If I have had Botox or fillers, will it affect my permanent makeup treatment?

I recommend that you allow at least 2 weeks after Botox or fillers before having your permanent makeup treatment in order to prevent distortion of facial symmetry.
